Opening and funding checking account Sole Proprietor Solo 401k

I’m sure this is on here somewhere but I couldn’t find it after searching.

My plan documents do not have an EIN on them. Do I need an EIN to open a trust checking account? Does My Solo 401k provide this?

On the banking guide it references a 2 page “EIN Letter” I don’t see this in my documents after forming the trust.

Hi and yes the following link https://www.mysolo401k.net/solo-401k/ein-number/ contains instructions for obtaining the EIN for the solo 401k. Note that we also obtain the EIN after the client responds to the next steps email.
