Rollover to Roth IRA vs Roth Solo 401(K)1 Reply

I recently changed firms and looking to transfer my Roth 401(K) from my former firm. I can transfer it to a Roth IRA account or to a Roth Solo 401(K). What are the pros and cons?
If I move it to a solo 401(K), I have the option of investing in leveraged real estate without UDFI consequences, although I don’t know how likely I am to do invest in that anyways. What other considerations are there? Or should I just keep things simple and transfer to my ROTH IRA?Levi R.

Here is a good post that goes over the differences between a self-directed Roth 401k and a Roth IRA: https://www.mysolo401k.net/solo-401k-webinar-deep-dive-compare-self-directed-roth-401k-vs-roth-ira/
Of course, we handle and guide our clients through the process to rollover funds from their former employer plan to the Solo 401k.
