Solo Roth Tax reporting
Posted by Valerie C. on January 24, 2023 at 5:22 pmI purchased a house inside of my Roth Solo. I’m now selling the property and the title company wants to know the tax ID number. I am unclear as to whether I use my S-corp EIN or the Solo Trust EIN. Again this is a Roth account so I wont be paying tax on the income. Other than the 5500, is there any other tax reporting I have to do?

January 26, 2023 at 3:20 am1. Solo 401K transactions (including the sale of real estate owned by the solo 401K) must be made under the name and employer identification number of the Solo 401K.
2. Please note that the specific sale of real estate by the Solo 401K is not reportable on the form 5500-EZ
