Solo 401k real estate investing
Posted by Eric M on July 22, 2025 at 1:14 pmIf I invested in a RE hotel syndication from solo 401k as a member in an LLC which then invested as LP, can I sell those
shares back and re-deposit the money in my solo 401k investment account
and then invest from personal funds, essentially re-buying the same
ownership shares with personal funds instead, so I can take advantage
of bonus depreciation in 2026 once the asset is placed into service as well as some OH state tax credits? I
know a direct sale is not allowed between the solo 401k and me but is what I’m describing a way
around this?George Blower replied 1 year, 1 month ago 2 Members · 2 Posts -
